This years mini symposium is comprised of two workshops-

“You can’t judge a book by its cover”- A "hands on" Food Labelling & Regulations workshop presented by Tony Coope, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Manager, Parmalat Australia, Jim Gruber,National Food and Policy Regulation Group ChairAIFST and Dr. Geoffrey Annison, Deputy Chief Executive, Australian Food & Grocery Council.

“The proof is in the pudding”- A Process and Product Validation workshop presented by Dr Roger MacBean, Consultant and Retired GM Technical, Parmalat Australia and
Mary Sharma, Innovations Manager at Goodman, Fielder, with other field experts. This workshop will provide you with first-hand experience in process validation and product validation
techniques.

Wayne Austin from Shamrock Food will be speaking at the Australian Speciality Cheesemakers Association (ASCA) Event jointly organised by the DIAA.  It is a one day seminar focussing on topics such as cheese quality, product knowledge, education and management.
